You honestly feel like you’ve been transported to another world. The hacienda-style architecture, the old chapel, the mariachi band and that light ocean mist in the air that’s ever present. The hotel feels closer to a private home, and for the longest time, this is what it was... the home of Don Abelardo Rodriguez before becoming the region's first resort. The original 15-room house was expanded, today counting 173 rooms, suites, casitas and luxury villas, but surrounded by swaying palms and immersed in tropical surroundings, you’d never know.

The staff, attention to details, and the accommodations at this property never disappoint. Everyone makes all of the guests feel as though we are the most important people there. Our room butler, Sonia, went the extra mile every day that we were at Palmilla. It didn’t matter how small of a request we made, she made sure it was done in the best way possible. This was our fourth stay at this property and it won’t be our last! Everyone, pool bar staff, adult pool attendants, housekeepers, restaurant servers, room service, luggage assistance, absolutely everyone we came in contact with deserves appreciation. Thank you for again making our stay unbelievably wonderful.

excellent 1st class experience from the moment we arrived at the airport being greeted by our driver, to check in straight to our room, our Butler Dani was awesome, our room fantastic, the restaurants were top notch and every employee made us feel at home.
